This document is a legal document and is an agreement which is drawn up between two parties. As part of the agreement, the details of both parties as well as their addresses are mentioned. It also states that the houses of the two parties border the land of the other.

Further as per the agreement it mentions that whatever water falls on the roof of one of the parties, as a result of the overhanging eaves, the water falls onto the property of the other party which is known as the aggrieved party. The agreement therefore is drawn up so that any conflicts which are a result of these overhanging eaves are then quelled.

As per the agreement it states that this situation will continue till the house of the party which has the overhanging eaves still stands and this agreement is to be upheld not only for the parties in question but for their successors as well and that the agreement will not dissolve over a period of time.

As per the agreement it states that due to the damage caused to the property of the neighbor as a result of the overhanging eaves, the party which owns the eaves will compensate his neighbor who is the aggrieved party.

This agreement is not only signed by both the neighbors and dated as well, but it is also signed by the witnesses of the agreement as well. Therefore it is a document that any court of law upholds and therefore no suits can be filed by the aggrieved party in this regard.
