The Amendment for Selling a Farm with Grazing and Name Rights Included
Different kinds of properties are sold in the real estate market and one such property is a farm land. While selling a farm, it is not just about selling a piece of land. A farm is associated with a lot of other things like grazing, animals, equipment etc. and most of the time. Thus, when a contract for selling a farm is created, an amendment is also created to retain the rights to the additional things.
One of the common amendments related to selling of farms is farm sale amendment including name and grazing rights. This amendment is quite simple and easy to understand. It includes fields for entering names of the people between whom the agreement is taking place. It is clearly written in the first statement that it is legally binding amendment to the contract that is made between two people as mentioned in the form. The date of the agreement along with the details of the property for which the agreement is made is also part of the amendment.
As per the amendment, after the selling the farm to the buyer, buyer will hold the rights to use the farm name as well as adjoining and nearby lands for grazing of livestock. The name of the farm, that the seller holds right to, will have to be mentioned in the amendment. Both the buyer and seller will have to sign the amendment. Signature of two witnesses is also important for sealing the amendment.
