Property Inspection Checklist covering all areas of interest
The free property inspection checklist is printable. It covers all the essential information regarding the property. The form begins with spaces to enter the property address, district and subdivision. It covers the basic technical questions that one would like to know while inspecting the property, such as: the year of its building, tax information, style of the house, listed price and bidding price, and alikes.
The next section of the form contains spaces to fill up the crucial informations regarding the real estate company and the agent. Thereafter, there are questions about the facilities of the real estate such as number of bathrooms, its total size in sq. ft., its exterior appearance and its main appeal.
Next comes the section where each and every aspect of the real estate has been covered and there is a provision for categorizing each of those aspects or facilities as “good”, “fair” or “poor”. Some of the external features of the real estate that are covered in this category are: Driveways, Walkways, Garage, Landscaping, Privacy, Patios and Porches.
The form provides the scope to look into the details one would need to know before rehabbing, such as the type of the roof (one can choose between: Asphalt Shingles, Slate, Tiles, Cedar or Others) or the windows, walls, floor and ceiling types. It can also be mentioned whether the ceilings have had any fixtures.
There are also sections that allow stating the conditions of windows, ceiling, walls, floor, closets, heat/air-conditioning, kitchen, appliances, cabinets, counter-tops, faucets, tubs and showers along with the details of the laundry room.
