Indemnification of Owner Or Contractor for Injuries Or Death

The subcontractor is responsible for all the accidents at construction site
The construction site is a very dangerous place. There are heavy machines used and people work at very high altitudes. There is always a chance of any kind of accident at the construction field. Therefore all the workers at the construction site are instructed to war all their safety gears and perform all the work with safety of oneself and others in mind and as the first priority all the time.
These safety measures, however strong, may not be able to prevent some or the other kind of accidents with varying intensities from simple fracture to even death. If you are the owner of the property the whole responsibility of death will come on to you but if you or your contractor have signed an indemnification of owner or contractor for injuries or death form then the onus will not be on you and also you will be exempted from paying for the injury or death.
Generally the Indemnificationof owner or contractor for injuries or death form is signed by the subcontractor who is actually getting the work done in the field. The owner assigns the work to the contractor who in turn acts as a broker and assembles all the subcontractors who actually get the work done at the construction site. So, legally and otherwise too the liability of the subcontractor is more. So if you get this form signed you will not be held responsible for the injuries and deaths at the construction site.
