Agreement for construction of common stairway

Agreement for construction of common stairway

When there is a property which is used by more than just one person there always comes a question of sharing of expenses and sharing of the costs for construction of things which are used by all the parties sharing the property. One such scenario is when a common stairway is to be constructed.

As per the Agreement for construction of common stairway the agreement is made, signed as well as dated by all the parties in question who own the property. It is states that a common stairway is to be constructed and the details of where the stairway is to be constructed is also mentioned.

It also states that the hall and stairway jointly will be used by the parties and that a middle wall with a stone foundation will need to be built and on this a wall which is two stories high for 80 feet as well as one story high for 20 feet is to be constructed and this would be built on half of each person’s ground. This would be owned by both the parties in question and one of the parties would pay half of the cost of the roofing over the hall as well as doors to be put at the openings and / or partition walls. After it is completed, the stairway as well as the hall is to be maintained and repaired in such a way that both parties pay an equal sum towards both the maintenance as well as repairs.
